Ammonia Low Range Checker by Hanna Instruments

The HI-700 Ammonia Low Range Checker is a simple, accurate and cost-effective way to measure low ranges of ammonia in fresh water.

Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI-700 provides quick, accurate results in four easy steps. HI-700 uses an adaptation of the ASTM Manual of Water and Environmental Technology, D1426-92, Nessler method. The reaction between ammonia and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample.

Ammonia Low Range Checker 0.00-3.00ppm.

Features:

– Small palm-size design
– Accurate from +-5ppm to +-5% of reading
– Dedicated single parameter
– Uses 1 x AAA battery
– Auto Power Off 10 minutes
– Built-in timer for timed reaction readings

The checker is supplied with 2 cuvettes and caps, reagents for 25 tests, 1 x AAA battery and an instruction manual.

Specifications:

– Range – 0.00 to 3.00ppm NH3-N
– Resolution – 0.01ppm
– Accuracy – +-0.05ppm +-5% of reading
– Measurement Method – Colorimetric
– Light source – LED @470nm
– Light detector – Silicon photocell
– Method – Adaptation of the ASTM Manual of Water and Environmental Technology D1426-92, Nessler Method. The reaction between ammonia and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample.
– Power supply – Battery x 1 AAA
– Power Auto Off – 10 minutes of inactivity
– Dimensions – 81.5 x 61 x 37.5mm
– Weight – 64g

Nitrite Low Range Checker by Hanna Instruments

The HI-707 Nitrite Low Range Checker is a simple, accurate and a cost-effective way to measure low ranges of nitrite. Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI-707 provides quick, accurate results in four easy steps. The HI-707 uses an adaptation of EPA diazotisation method 354.1. The reaction between nitrite and the reagent causes a pink tint in the sample.

Nitrite Low Range Checker 0-600ppb.

Features:

– Small palm-size design
– Accurate from +-20pbb to +-5% of reading
– Dedicated single parameter
– Uses 1 x AAA battery
– Auto Power Off 10 minutes
– Built-in timer for timed reaction readings

The checker is supplied with 2 cuvettes and caps, reagent starter kit (6 tests), 1 x AAA battery and instruction manual.

Specifications:

– Range – 0 to 600ppb NO2-N
– Resolution – 1ppb
– Accuracy – +-20ppb +-5% of reading
– Measurement Method – Colorimetric
– Light source – LED @470nm
– Light detector – Silicon photocell
– Method – Adaptation of the EPA Diazotisation method 354.1
– Power supply – Battery x 1 AAA
– Power Auto Off – 10 minutes of inactivity
– Dimensions – 81.5 x 61 x 37.5mm
– Weight – 64g

Conversion to mg/l below

1000ppb = 1mg/l
500ppb = 0.5mg/l
100ppb = 0.1mg/l

KH Checker (Alkalinity)

Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, it is easy to use with single button operation and a large LCD display. This mini tester also features auto shut-off to ensure a longer battery life. The HI-775 is ideal for checking water quality, great for educational and environmental applications and for use in freshwater aquaria.

Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI-775 provides quick, accurate results in four easy steps. (See below). The HI-775 uses a colorimetric method. The reaction causes a distinctive range of colours from yellow to blue to develop. This meter has been developed to work with fresh water samples.

Please note: Any chlorine present in the sample will interfere with the reading. To remove the chlorine interference add one drop of HI-93755-53 Chlorine Remover to the unreacted sample prior to testing.

Features:

  • Small palm-sized design
  • Accurate from +5ppm + 5% of reading
  • dedicated to a single parameter
  • Uses a Single AAA battery
  • Auto Power Off after 10 mins of inactivity
  • Built-in-timer for timed reaction readings

Ideal for:

  • Water Quality
  • Education
  • Freshwater Aquarium
  • Environmental

Order Information:
